A Supernatural Solution for Your Natural Crisis

I heard the voice of the Lord speak to me and say, “I have a supernatural solution to your natural crisis. Heaven is getting involved with this battle. Don’t stop contending for revival. Keep asking! Keep seeking! Keep knocking! I am doing a new thing, it has already begun, and you have not seen anything yet.”

“ 16 I am the Lord, who opened a way through the waters, making a dry path through the sea. 17 I called forth the mighty army of Egypt with all its chariots and horses. I drew them beneath the waves, and they drowned, their lives snuffed out like a smoldering candlewick. 18 ‘But forget all that— it is nothing compared to what I am going to do. 19 For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland” (Isa. 43:16-19, NLT).

Did you see what God said in Verse 18? He said, “But forget all that— it is nothing compared to what I am going to do.”

The same God that parted the waters for the children of Israel and collapsed the same waters to drowned their enemy is the same God working on your behalf now.

Shortly before Elisha died, Jehoash, the King of Israel, went to visit the great prophet. Jehoash was highly distressed. He was facing a military crisis. Israel was under siege by the Syrians. It seemed a foregone conclusion that Israel would suffer a great defeat by the mere number of the opposition that had come against them. Nonetheless, the panic-stricken King sought a prophetic instruction from the Lord.

“ 15 And Elisha said unto him, Take bow and arrows. And he took unto him bow and arrows. 16 And he said to the King of Israel, Put thine hand upon the bow. And he put his hand upon it: and Elisha put his hands upon the King’s hands. 17 And he said, Open the window eastward. And he opened it. Then Elisha said, Shoot. And he shot. And he said, The arrow of the Lord's deliverance, and the arrow of deliverance from Syria: for thou shalt smite the Syrians in Aphek, till thou have consumed them. 18 And he said, Take the arrows. And he took them. And he said unto the King of Israel, Smite upon the ground. And he smote thrice, and stayed. 19 And the man of God was wroth with him, and said, Thou shouldest have smitten five or six times; then hadst thou smitten Syria till thou hadst consumed it: whereas now thou shalt smite Syria but thrice” (2Ki. 13:15-19).

Elisha gave the king an unusual but prophetic instruction. There are times that God will instruct you to do a prophetic action by faith.  Your obedience to His voice releases a supernatural solution to your natural crisis! God commanded Israel to march around Jericho in silence once for six days, then seven times on the seventh day, and when they were finished marching to shout, and the walls would fall (Jos. 6:15-16). He instructed Jehoshaphat to send singers to worship and that He would give them total victory (2 Chr. 20:21-22). There are many instances in the Word of God when a prophetic instruction was given which released a supernatural solution.

Elisha told Jehoash to open the window and take bow and arrows in his hand. The Prophet Elisha then put his hands upon the king’s hands. This seemingly small thing is remarkably significant. Elisha was mantling the king’s natural fight with a supernatural covering. Elisha was mixing the supernatural with the natural. In essence, Elisha brought Heaven’s viewpoint down into the Earthly realm.

God would have me say to you today; He is getting involved in your situation. Listen for His voice and obey His prophetic instruction. You will see a SUPERNATURAL SOLUTION”!

Elisha told King Jehoash to shoot, and as he shot the arrow, Elisha prophesied. “And he said, The arrow of the Lord’s deliverance, and the arrow of deliverance from Syria: for thou shalt smite the Syrians in Aphek, till thou have consumed them” (2Ki. 13:17).

Jehoash was striking the ground for a promised victory. Although, he did not realize the shooting of the arrows was a prophetic act that was moving the hand of God on his behalf. Therefore, he stopped after shooting only three arrows. Although the king did not feel or see anything changing as he released the arrows, still God was moving behind the scenes in the spirit realm with every shot.

Elisha became angry at Jehoash’s lackadaisical approach to God’s instruction. He said, “Thou shouldest have smitten five or six times; then hadst thou smitten Syria till thou hadst consumed it: whereas now thou shalt smite Syria but thrice” (2Ki. 13:19).

There were at least six arrows in a quiver, but the king stopped after striking the ground with only three. How bad do you want to see a move of God? Keep striking the ground.

Our adversary is doing all that he can to intimidate and overwhelm the body of Christ. His desire is to cause us to sleep while he takes what rightfully belongs to us. His strategy is to cause us to give up, but God is sounding the alarm of awakening. This is our finest hour.

I heard the Holy Spirit say to you, “Don’t stop. I have promised you complete victory. Don’t stop praying. Don’t stop contending for revival. Keep striking the ground with your prophetic promises. Every word that I have spoken will come forth. I have called you to birth My purpose in the Earth. War with your prophecies. It does not matter how many foes are against you or how impossible it seems. I will bring forth a move of My Spirit that will shake this generation. Don’t stop contending.”
